The founder of Gripit Floss Holders recently sent me a few of his flossing products to try out! The Gripit Floss Holder makes it easy to floss because the flossing string is held securely in place. Gripit is capable of holding a fifty (50) yard reel of floss, and is reusable for as long as you continue flossing! This means that you won’t have to keep buying bag after bag of disposable flossers (which I completely admit to doing, but this will probably change now that my husband and I each have our own Gripits!).
As you know, flossing is important because the process removes harmful bacteria that build up around and in between your teeth — places that most toothbrushes are unable to reach. There’s no reason not to floss. If you can afford patio furniture, you can afford to floss. Heck, even if you can’t afford patio furniture, you can still afford to floss! Flossing is a cheap habit that is very good to get into.
According to the Gripit website, the Gripit makes flossing easy because its very design keeps floss pulled taut. The shape and length (or height, depending on how you look at it) makes flossing easy and hassle-free — you don’t have to contort your jaw open or stick your fingers in your mouth in order to reach all of your teeth.
Gripits can be used over and over again — simply replace the reel of floss as it depletes! I can tell you that replacing and threading a new reel is quite easy. My three year old son undid one of the Gripits, and I was able to pop open the other Gripit and use it as a reference.
My husband and I will be using the Gripit Floss Holders for a few days, after which time I’ll be sure to post a full review of them. But so far they seem quite promising! 
My husband came home with a canister of Aquafresh Iso-Active Whitening. Apparently he’s now into teeth whitening? This is kind of funny to me, because it has never been a priority or even a concern of his before. But hey, I’m not complaining. I’ve been purchasing teeth whitening focused toothpastes (Crest) and am three quarters of the way through a fourteen day routine of using Crest Advanced Seal, so bring on the whitening toothpaste!
I tried this toothpaste out tonight, and my first impression is wow, HOLY FOAM! But I want to try it out for a few more days before I provide an actual review. So, stay tuned!
It has been quite a while since I’ve used basic foundation. Throughout the summer I’ve been using a variety of shimmery and glowing types of liquid and powdered foundations, but now that summer is over it’s time to retire the glow and shimmer (and bring out the glitter, whee!). So I decided to buy a new foundation. I’ve heard nothing but good things about CoverGirl TRUblend Liquid Makeup, so I picked up the foundation in Ivory tonight. As soon as I’ve had the opportunity to try it I’ll let you know what I think of it!

You know me, I’m never satisfied with any particular mascara. I’m always after the perfect mascara. I’ve yet to find it, which is why I keep buying, using and review mascaras. My latest mascara purchase is L’Oreal Double Extend Mascara. I’m a fan of the mascaras that offer the 2-step process, though they’re a bit inconvenient and time-consuming to use.

We chose the Z’Fogless Lighted Shaving Mirror. It arrived quickly: it was shipped by Monday, September 7th and we had it that Wednesday. My husband and I were both excited over its arrival. We’ve been wanting a better mirror to use in our shower (he uses a mirror to aid him in shaving, of course; and I use a mirror to aid me in plucking and shaping my eyebrows), as the one we’ve had for the past few years fogs up at the drop of a hat.
The Z’Fogless Lighted Shaving Mirror is definitely of high quality. Great packaging, easy to follow instructions, and all of the pieces necessary to attach it to the side of a bathtub or shower stall (note: the adhesive doesn’t seem to like the fact that the side of our bathtub is textured, but to be honest this isn’t the first time we’ve run into this issue!). Putting up the Z’Fogless Lighted Shaving Mirror was a breeze, and it works like a charm. True to its word, the mirror does not fog up at all! Shaving and eyebrow plucking and shaping is so much easier for both of us since we don’t need to worry about clearing the steam off of the mirror. Plus the built-in light helps highlight shadowed areas, which makes shaving and eyebrow maintenance that much quicker and easier.
I would definitely use CSN Mirrors for my own purchases, and recommend them to anyone who is looking for a mirror for their home. Their products are high quality, decent and priced affordably, and from my experience, the customer service is excellent!

Ever since some dental problems my husband had as a result of gingivitis, he has been a stickler for brushing and flossing twice a day. The habit of flossing has grown on me, and now on our children. I just received a package of DenTek Fun Flossers, and as you can see, they’re a hit with the kids:
