On Sunday I treated myself to the T-Mobile myTouch 3G. I was eligible for an upgrade at a significant discount, and since I sold my T-Mobile G1 (read review) on eBay Saturday night, I only had to make up the difference caused by the upgrade fee (which I was not aware of until this morning, grr!), taxes, and phone cover.

My initial thoughts: I love it, of course. The myTouch 3G is a lot like my G1, and of course it uses the same Android operating system. But it’s faster, the phone itself is slimmer, and there’s no external keyboard. Thankfully, Google seems to have greatly improved upon the touch keyboard with this phone, so adjusting to typing texts, usernames, email addresses, passwords, etc., have been no great shakes with this phone.

I’ve only had the time to play around with it so far, so I’ll leave this review as an upcoming week. I’ll get back to you in a week or two with my thoughts on the phone.

Over two years ago I received a bath & body kit from KLEAN Bath and Body. One item out of that set that I did not focus on too much or even really use was the KLEAN Mist. I came across it the other day when I was re-organizing the dozens of bottles of perfumes and lotions that claim a good chunk of the space on our dresser.

The KLEAN mist is designed for use on your body, your clothes, or simply the room you’re in. Scents it is available in include beach house, breathe, brown sugar, coco-mango, german chocolate cake, exhale, very vanilla, and the peppermint dream that I have. There are at least a dozen more scents; you can find them on the KLEAN Mist page.. You also have a choice between an 8ml bottle ($10.50) or a 4oz bottle ($19.50).

I decided to spray it into the air, since the air freshener in our room had run out, and the room was smelling a little… stuffy. I have to say, two shots of this stuff really filled the air. It wasn’t overly powerful, but it was long-lasting. I swear, it’s two days later and I am still getting whiffs of the stuff! That’s a good thing, of course. It’s nice to know that 1-2 sprays will last a long time. At this rate, I’ll have this little 4 oz. bottle around for quite a while!

Am I the only one that feels almost insulted by a coupon for twenty or thirty cents? Seriously, save $0.20 on a $4 product or $0.30 on two $5.00 products? To me, the savings is so little that it’s not even worth the paper it’s printed on.

Speaking of which, where do you go to find coupons? I mainly check out coupons.com, but are there any other coupon sites that don’t just redirect to coupons.com or show the same coupons that they have?

In my never-ending quest for high sources of protein, I picked up a few individual packets of BSN Lean Protein Dessert in the following flavors:

• chocolate coconut
• chocolate fudge pudding
• fresh cinnamon roll
• whipped vanilla

Each packet requires just 4 oz. (or more; measure to taste) of cold water or milk (I always used milk; I wanted a creamier taste and the extra protein. Just 4 oz. of milk has 4 grams of protein!), and each packet offers 20 grams worth of protein! That’s about a third of my minimum daily recommendation, so obviously I was excited to have these shakes, even if I wasn’t looking forward to the taste of them.

But in actuality, I was pleasantly surprised by BSN Lean Protein Dessert. I could just barely detect the distinct taste of protein powder, and the flavors — chocolate, cinnamon roll, vanilla — were okay. Bland, but pretty on the mark as far as flavor goes. My only strong complaint is about the whipped vanilla. I don’t know if it’s something about vanilla, but man that was hard to choke down.

Bottom line, for the money (the BSN Lean Protein Desserts were marked down to $0.75 at my local GNC), I can’t complain too much! They’re cheap, easy to make, and definitely flavorful, even if they’re on the bland side.

It’s been over a month, but I wanted a decent amount of time to try out Crest Pro-Health Multi-Protection Night Rinse before writing a review about it. After all, what’s the point in reviewing a mouth wash that you barely know anything about? It’s important to know what you’re using if you want a white smile for Philadelphia jobs, or just for your personal life.

Anyway, what makes Crest Pro-Health Multi-Protection Night Rinse different from other mouthwashes is that it contains no alcohol. But since it’s from Crest, the lack of alcohol doesn’t impact its ability to kill off harmful bacteria and bad breath.

My husband and I have been using Crest Pro-Health Multi-Protection Night Rinse for over a month now. He uses it once daily, at night; I use it 1-2 times each day, and always at night. There’s no burning sensation, it doesn’t foam or froth, and the taste is pleasant enough to tolerate while swishing, gargling, and rinsing. My teeth feel squeaky-clean afterwards, and my breath is definitely minty fresh!

Neutrogena is one brand I don’t use that often, simply because a lot of their products are specially designed for women with sensitive skin or allergies, and I’m fortunate to have missed both of those genes. But last fall I was drawn to one of Neutrogena’s products — a body wash specifically formulated for shaving with. I know I’ve mentioned this before, but I’m lazy and can’t be bothered to use a separate product for shaving. I don’t buy shaving cream, except for my husband. I use extra body wash in order to shave under my arms, my legs, and the girly parts. So a body wash that is heavy on the lather and rich in moisture is an absolute must for me.

So when I saw that Target carried Neutrogena Rainbath Shower & Shave Body Wash, and it was marked down to $3.78 (they had it stashed on one of those endcap aisles that has everything but the discount kitchen sink thrown on it), I immediately snapped up four bottles of the stuff.

My thoughts? Well, I’m not fond of the scent, as it’s the standard Rainbath scent that Neutrogena uses for its other products, but the body wash lathers well, provides plenty of moisture, and is definitely great for shaving with!

The first thing I do every morning, after going to the bathroom of course, is throw myself into the shower. Whether I’m running on eight hours of sleep or three, I need a shower to start my day. And right over I lather up my hair with shampoo, I reach for a facial cleanser. I like having clean skin, and I usually need to remove whatever leftover traces of makeup and glitter I still have on from the day before. I love facial cleansers that tingle, because they do a great job of livening up my skin and waking me up.

The newest product I’ve tried is Clean & Clear Deep Action Exfoliating Scrub. I spotted it after breezing right past the aisle at Target that contains quick trim diet, alli, Hoodia-type crap, etc. Clean & Clear Deep Action Exfoliating Scrub is a facial scrub that is appropriate for all skin types, and it’s a combination of gel and exfoliating beads that do a fantastic job of cleaning out my pores, removing skin oils, makeup, etc. The stuff smells good, and the tingle is just strong enough to let me know that it’s there, and that it’s working. It doesn’t dry out my skin or leave it overly sensitive, so this stuff is definitely going to be a permanent addition to my morning shower!
