Zippies are adorable and awesome child I.D./security tags that can be used to identify a child’s belongings, or provide the parents’ contact information in the event that a child becomes separated from his parents or lost. Each Zippie is soft yet firm, flexible, and textured, and on the back there is a space to write in a name and contact number. Zippies attach to zippers and the like via a durable, sturdily constructed metal push-open ring, which closes securely to ensure a secure fit. I added my name and our home telephone number to the back of each Zippie, since they’re on our childrens’ belongings primarily for security purposes. As an added bonus, with each Zippie being unique from one another, children can pick their favorites and ensure that their belongings always stand out from the rest.
