Have you noticed a funky, mildewy odor in your towels, or worse still, in your washer (more common in front-load washers, I believe)? I know I have. I do all of our wash in cold water (with the exception of whites, which I wash warm, or depending on the level and type of grime, hot), and I use appropriate levels of detergent and fabric softener for a HE washer. Also, I leave the washer door open at least once a week for several hours at a time in order to air out the rubber gasket and seal, as well as the stainless steel metal basket itself. But still, that odor appears every now and again.
Smelly Washer recently contacted me to see if I would be interested in reviewing their product, and of course I said yes. Smelly Washer is a washing machine deodorizer that works to clean out the moldy, musty and sour smells in your washer — which in turn will free up your clothes, towels and other fabrics from taking on those same odors. There’s more to it, of course, including the need to change your washing habits, which I will detail when I write my full review of Smelly Washer. For now, I have some franchise lead generations to check into for a friend.
