I have a love/hate relationship with mopping. I love a spiffy clean floor that is free of grime and stickiness, but I’m not fond of mopping. I’ve tried a lot of mops, including the wringing kind, the Swiffer Wet Jet, and the Clorox Ready Mop, but none have truly fit the bill. Then I recently got to see a demo of the Rubbermaid Reveal, and I fell in love. Imagine a Swiffer Wet Jet or a Clorox Ready mop that allows you to wash and reuse the pad and provide your own cleaning solution. The pad itself is made out of tiny microfibers, so it’s effective at cleaning, and gentle enough to use on any type of flooring and around even the most delicate of modern furniture. You’ll go green by reducing your contribution to the landfills in the world, and you’ll save money by using standard floor cleansers (or your own unique blend), as opposed to the pricey refill containers that companies market for just their mops.
Anyway, I picked up a Rubbermaid Reveal yesterday, and I can’t wait to start using it. I’ll report back soon!
Hi. I recently purchased the Rubbermaid Reveal Mop because I had a Swiffer Wet Jet and there is absolutely no carpet in our entire downstairs area in our new home, so I was spending way too much money with the Swiffer, so I decided to give this a try. My only problem is that my tile is CONSTANTLY sticky with the Rubbermaid, and I diluted the cleaner like it said to, but the vinyl wood flooring is fine. My feet end up looking super dirty, as well as the baby’s knees, the day after I mopped, which I have never had a problem with before. I am wondering what your experience has been with your mop?
