Wearable Art is just what it sounds like: art that you can wear! At coloryourclothes.com, you have your choice of over a dozen designs that are already outlined onto t-shirts. Or, you can choose to purchase a custom design, where you add your own design to a t-shirt. Shirt sizes run from kids’ extra small to kids’ large, so preschoolers and tweens alike can show off their mad coloring skills.
Alyssa and Ryan each received a t-shirt from Wearable Art. Alyssa received the Princess design, and Ryan received the Space design. Each t-shirt was true-to-size, and each came packaged with a boxed set of six special pastel crayons. The instructions, which were clear and concise, specified that the kids should color their designs first. Then, when the designs are finished, a clean sheet of white paper should be placed over the design, and the design should then be ironed with a hot iron to set the colors and make the design permanent. Simple, right? It really was that simple! And moms? This was a total mess-free project, and one that the kids could direct themselves with! While they were busy coloring, I was busy researching acnepril reviews and planning dinner. It was a total win/win situation!
Once ironed, the design is indeed permanent. Both of the kids’ t-shirts have been washed (with bleach) twice, and there has been no side of color leaking or fading. Wearable Art is really a lot of fun! Alyssa and Ryan had a blast coloring their own shirts, and could barely sit still while I carefully ironed both designs and then waited for the shirts to cool before returning them to their artists. I’d definitely recommend Wearable Art for a rainy afternoon activity, a special treat, a fun party favor or even an event to have while at a party!
