My husband recently set up a ten gallon fish tank with our daughter. Since this is not the kind of tank you can just pick up and change the water out of on an as-needed basis, a filter was most definitely needed. One came with it, but my husband asked me to pick up one that would filter more water, more often, so out I went to the pet store. I’ve never purchased a filter before, as I’ve never had a fish tank bigger than 1.5 gallons, so I asked an employee at the store for help. I was pointed in the direction of AquaClear Power Filters, so that’s what I came home with.
It has only been in the fish tank for about 30 hours, and there are only two goldfish and two small water frogs in the tank, but so far the water is crystal clear. What I really love is the absolute quiet of the filter. But I think I’ll let it run for a month or so before I give it my full review.
