I thought it would be worth mentioning that my beloved Target, which is my favorite store to shop at (now if only my local Target had more than just a small grocery section; then I could go there for everything but vacuum cleaner bags and pet food!), has been accepting multiple credit card payments on purchases. It used to be that you couldn’t use more than one credit card or debit card to make a purchase. It would be fine to do a credit card with cash, or a debit card with a check, but to use two debit cards or two credit cards on a purchase? No way. Fortunately, the big wigs at Target have realized that some of us look to a payday loan rather than blank checks or a black American Express card to pay our bills, and that plenty of us wind up with multiple accounts (we, for instance, have our bank account, and then a PayPal account to which we have debit/credit cards connected to) and not enough money in either to cover an entire purchase.
Just thought I’d share… just try not to do what I did last night: burden a cashier with coupons, two Target gift cards, and two credit cards! I wound up having to walk the cashier through the process (I used to work at Target) myself! Oopsies. *blush*
