I know I reported that I was super-excited about Cover Girl Lash Blast Fusion Mascara, as it’s the upgraded version of one of my other favorite mascaras, Cover Girl Lash Blast (see review), but, eh, I think I need to revise my opinion. I’ve used Cover Girl Lash Blast Fusion Mascara several times now, and each time it seems like I have to apply a coat and use the brush on my lashes several times to get them all thoroughly coated, separated, thickened, and defined. Don’t get me wrong, I’m willing to work a little harder to achieve a nice effect. But when I can get that same effect with other products with less work, then I’m going to be a little jaded.
In any case, Cover Girl Lash Blast Fusion Mascara gets the job done, though it didn’t provide the volume I expected:
The main reason I bought it, besides liking Cover Girl’s other products, is that Target’s receipt printer, the tm-t88iv, printed out a $1 off coupon. I was like, YEAH, I’m all over that! In any event, I’ll use up the tube I have, but I probably won’t bother to replace it. And if I somehow came across another, I’d sell it, give it away, or maybe offer it as a prize for baby shower games.
