Upcoming review: Rohto Eye Drops

1

The combination of allergies, working from home 8+ hours a day, and wearing contact lenses is wreaking havoc on my eyes. Ceiling fans and window air conditioner units only add to the fun. Not a day goes by when I don’t experience dryness, irritation and redness, or both. So as you can imagine, I was very excited when a representative from Rohto contacted me to see if I would be interested in trying out and reviewing Rohto Eye Drops. Of course I said yes! They were quite generous, as they sent me not one but four variations to try:

Rohto Hydra: I am most excited about trying Rohto Hydra, which is designed to relieve dry eyes by soothing irritation and adding a cooling moisture layer. Dry eyes are my number one complaint, even at the end of the night when I take out my contacts and relax with glasses (note: these and other Rohto eye drops are not designed for use with contact lenses. Always remove them first!).

Rohto Artic: Rohto Artic is second on my list of must-have eye drops, because they provide a cooling sensation along with lubrication that is designed to ease eye strain, as well as redness relief. I routinely switch between my desktop, laptop and netbook so that my eyes are never straining at the same thing, but I’m still subjecting my eyes to staring at and focusing on computer monitors for a minimum of eight hours a day, so eye strain is something I experience frequently. And when I’m tired, it gets worse, particularly in my right eye (I have a mild astigmatism). So believe me, I plan on using the Rohto Artic eye drops frequently! I’ll probably pass them along to my husband, whose gaming often gets his eyes acting pretty wonky.

Rohto Cool: Rohto Cool is what I would consider to be the perfect eye drops for the average person. Rohto Cool provides lubrication and a nifty cooling sensation, and it also relieves redness.

Rohto Ice: Now these just have me intrigued. An icy-cool sensation in my eyes? Bring it, please! Itchy eyes drive me crazy, and it seems like whenever they start to itch, they just won’t stop. If you haven’t guessed, Rohto Ice is designed to tackle and relieve burning and itching eyes, an the red eyes that often accompany them — perfect for allergy season!
