Minichill

Categorized in:

I apologize, as this review has definitely been a long time in coming. But better late than never, right? Anyway, let’s get right to it: Minichill is just the opposite of what you would expect to get from one of those spiffy shot-sized bottles. Rather than energizing you and prepping you for an all-nighter or just a more energetic day at the office (or in the house with the kids, as is the story of my life!), Minichill works to slow you down. But it doesn’t make you drowsy. Oh no. The patented non-drowsy formula actually relaxes you and helps you focus.

Minichill provides relaxation and increased focus in a fast-acting, two ounce drink that contains no calories or sugar (perfect if you’re on a diet, are a diabetic, or you are like me and need to watch your sugar intake!). Its unique blend of amino acids and herbs come together to create a non-drowsy formula that is effective in helping you unwind.

I didn’t get the opportunity to try Minichill until more recently, as I was concerned about the effects it might have on me, as I am a post-op gastric bypass patience. But my husband and my brothers-in-law have tried Minichill several times, and they love it! My 25 year old brother-in-law in particular is really in love with Minichill’s effects. He drives an hour each way to a stressful, 8-10 hour a day job, and then comes home only to help bartend or bounce at a local bar. He is a very busy guy, and even on the weekends is just go-go-go. He couldn’t get over how much it calmed him down and enabled him to just relax at the end of a long day.

I tried Minichill recently — tonight, in fact! And I’m really liking it as well! I’m not too fond of the flavor, but it’s palatable. More importantly, the stuff has seemed to calm me down and keep me more focused on what I need to be doing. Since my days are somewhat chaotic with balancing working from home with taking care of my young children, by the time they’re in bed I’m ready to focus on watching television, reading a book, making a few phone calls, etc.; but I tend to just go from one thing to the next, because I’m too wired up to just settle and concentrate. Tonight’s rapid succession of focused, well-written blog posts should show you firsthand the miracle that Minichill is. ;) I swear, this stuff is PERFECT for busy moms!

More than anything, I’m glad that there is a product out there that calms you down without putting you out! As Steven Panzella, the fitness expert behind the product so aptly put it, “Sleep is not the same thing as relaxation.” Minichill does not contain any Melatonin, which is good, because Melatonin is a sleep aid — yet other types of “relaxation” drinks contain it. Go figure. You know, if I wanted a liquid sleep aid, I would just down some Nyquil!

Anyway, bottom line? Minichill is some pretty awesome stuff. I’m seriously thinking about buying my brother-in-law a case of the stuff for his birthday, and maybe buying a case for my husband and I to keep around, as we too have hectic, disorganized schedules that leave us pent up even when the kids are in bed and the house is quiet.
