When I saw that CSN Stores carried the Cuisinart Automatic Frozen Yogurt-Ice Cream & Sorbet Maker at their subsidiary, HouseholdAppliances.com, I just knew I had to have it. Homemade ice cream sounds like a delightful treat, doesn’t it? The idea of letting my kids help create such a delightful treat is also appealing. Most of all, the idea of having an appliance with which I’d be able to make my husband’s favorite ice cream flavor, cake batter, really made me say, “Okay, this is what I want to get”.
It arrived this morning, snugly packaged and delivered via UPS. It was quick and easy to set up, and it has a batch of homemade cake batter ice cream chilling in it right now. And yes, I do mean chilling in the literal sense.
I’ll wait to see how this ice cream and a few other homemade batches turns out, and then I’ll post an actual in-depth review! But so far, I am loving how easy this appliance is to use.
