We have two WaterWonders Aquariums — the basic silver kit for Ryan (enhanced with a separately-purchased Spongebob ornament and purple gravel), and the girly Little Mermaid kit for Alyssa. I really like these kits because they hold 1.5 gallons of water, which is suitable for a betta or a small goldfish. The Little Mermaid kit came with the tank, the filter + two filter cartridges, lighting, the Little Mermaid statue, and even the multi-colored gravel (note: ours is pink because I had to replace the gravel due to a sick fish)! The silver kit came with the tank, the filter + two filter cartridges, lighting, and two fake plants.

My only “beef” with these aquarium kits is that the power supply/AC adapter for Ryan’s fish tank (the silver kit) has died. I know it’s in fact the power supply/AC adapter and not the lighting fixture (LED!) itself, because I plugged Alyssa’s power supply/AC adapter into Ryan’s tank, and it lit right up. I contacted the manufacturer, Marineland, last week, so hopefully they’ll honor their 1-year warranty and send out a new one for the tank.
Other than that, I love these tanks! They’re cute, perfectly functional, the filter works nicely, and the hideaway drawer beneath is brilliant!
