I recently “borrowed” my mother’s Bissell Little Green ProHeat. I put quotes around borrow because chances are, I’ll be keeping it. After all, the Bissell Little Green ProHeat has been sitting unused in its box for nearly two years; why would my mother suddenly want to use it now? Anyway, I asked my mom about using the Bissell Little Green ProHeat because we have a few dog-created and kid-created stains on the carpet by our front door, in front of our sofa, in the hallway and in my daughter’s bedroom, and I wanted to see what this sucker could do.
The answer? It does it all. Now, I didn’t use it — today being Mother’s Day and all, my husband decided that he would be the one to put it together and try it out. Fine by me! I pointed out all of the stains that needed removing, and he got to work aiming the sprayer at them to soak them in the solution, then scrubbing back and worth with the nozzle to remove them. The thin, easy-to-wield attachments make it simple to get at stains that are near or against tv stands, end tables, and other pieces of furniture. The Bissell Little Green ProHeat easily removed all but one stain (orange marker) that my husband pointed it at, and in a relatively short amount of time and with what looked like minimal effort. It came with a sample sized bottle of Pet Stain & Odor Formula, which was all but used up during the stain-cleaning process.
According to my husband, this handy little carpet and upholstery cleaner is quick and easy to use. Oh — did I mention it removed a chewing gum stain from our sofa? And a smear of maple syrup? Whoo hoo! If my mom isn’t keen on me keeping this bad boy, I’ll just have to go and pick one up for myself!
Here’s the gunky water & filth that the Bissell Little Green ProHeat sucked up:
As lame as it sounds, I’m almost looking forward to the next inevitable stain, as it means having the chance to harness the stain-removing magic that Bissell Little Green ProHeat has!
