I never used to bother putting any kinds of hair products in my hair, thinking that because I had thick, coarse hair that it would have enough volume and oomph on its own. Wrong! If anything, it being so thick and heavy weighed it down, making my hair act more like a hairy brick and less like a beautiful, full head of hair that should have volume and height. Now that I’m almost six months post-op and have lost a decent amount of hair due to post-op nutritional deficiencies, giving my hair lift is more important than ever.
And time and time again, it’s Bed Head Superstar Queen for a Day Thickening Spray that I go to for just what I need. The stuff smells good and feels better than regular sprays, as it isn’t sticky or cloying at all. I spray it underneath multiple layers of my hair and work it through with my fingers, and then I finish off by leaning over, putting my head down, flipping my hair upside down and spraying the underside. Back up, a quick comb-through again, and I’m good to go write about baby shower supplies or take my kids to the park or go to the grocery store, or do whatever it is I plan on doing for the day.
Bed Head Superstar Queen for a Day Thickening Spray works for me day after day, all year round. And come to think of it, my supply is getting pretty low, so I should pick up another can of it soon.
