As of this month I have been wearing contact lenses for two years and six months. That’s 30 months of touching my eyeballs at least twice a day. It sounds squicky, and yes at first it was very hard to be able to touch my eyes without me wincing and them tearing up, but it wasn’t long before it became second nature.
One thing I can tell you about contact lenses is that both the brand and the cleaning & storage solution you use can make all the difference in the world. For the first two years and three months of contact lenses wearing I used Brand A with Cleaning Solution A. Then I switched to Cleaning Solution B, and wow, suddenly my contacts weren’t gunky or gritty in the mornings! Then I made the switch from Brand A of contacts to Brand B… and holy crap! Suddenly tearing contacts and dry eyes after just 10-12 hours of wear are a thing of the past.
I still want to try colored contact lenses. BuyMoreContacts.com has many styles of colored lenses available, ranging from the ones that subtly lighten, darken or intensity your existing eye color; and other types of contact lenses that change your eye color entirely. FYI, I have blue eyes, and while I like them, there are days when I’d love to be a brown-eyed girl or even a green-eyed girl. And during Halloween I’d love to have red or completely black (wouldn’t that be creepy?) eyes!
Note: if you wear contact lenses, make sure to wear and care for them as recommended. Never wear contact lenses longer than recommended, and always wash your hands before and after touching your eyes or handling your lenses!

Not that you wouldn’t be allowed, but why would you want to have different colored eyes? ( I do get the red and black at H-ween though :-p).
DO you think it would look better with how you look? Or is it ‘just’ to change it up? Genuinely interested in the reasoning behind your thoughts.
