I have seen several commercials for Soft Scrub Total Bath & Bowl, but what finally convinced me to give the product a try wasn’t the commercials, the online reviews, or even the $1 off coupon featured on their website (but it would have been nice to know about that coupon when I bought the product!); it was my frustration with my seeming inability to clean the crevice where the rim of my bathtub meets the wall. I’ve tried a variety of sprays, but they’re too runny and never stuck around long enough to really soak in and remove grime and stains. I’ve also tried regular bathroom cleansers, but there’s no easy way to angle the dispenser/opening of the container into the narrow crevice, so the stuff would always wind up everywhere but where I wanted it to be.
It was funny, I actually decided to pick up a bottle of Soft Scrub Total Bath & Bowl when I was in the shower one morning, rolling my eyes at my tub. I figured the advertised foaming action would provide the perfect balance between a thick, creamy cleanser and a sprayed-on cleaning product.
So now that I’ve explained what motivated me to purchase a bottle of Soft Scrub Total Bath & Bowl, let me tell you what I think about it: I love it. I’ve used Soft Scrub products before, and this one didn’t let me down. It’s easy to switch between spray & foam mode, and the foam is of the perfect consistency to go where I need it to and stay there long enough to get the job done. It’s also quick to get the job done. It was easy for me to quickly spray and wipe down my bath tub and sink in between planning out baby shower favors with a friend. It has a nice, cleanalicious scent that isn’t too strong, and it works nicely in both the upright and upside down position. I haven’t used it to clean my toilet, since I want bleach-loaded products for that task, but my husband sprayed some in there tonight, and it seemed to work just fine. I do use it for my bathroom sinks and drains, and it does a great job with those as well.
