I love to read. I’ve been a bookworm for as long as I have known how to read. I distinctly recall being nine and stuck at home with the chicken pox, and I spent the week at home from school devouring book after book after book. When other kids would play with their toys, I would read. As a teen and even an adult, I’ll sometimes give up a few hours of sleep in order to enjoy a really good book.

Of course, the downside of having a husband is not being able to read with the light on. Or splurge on Huntington Beach facials without getting the evil eye. So I solved the problem by using book lights. Most of them are clip-ons, but they’re also usually top heavy or on the gangly side, so they tend to sway or fall off entirely. I found the perfect solution in the Clip-it Bookmark Light. As you can see from the photo, it fits securely onto the cover of a book or around several pages of a book. Its light is bright and focused downwards, so it lights up the pages of most average-sized books perfectly.

Psst… don’t pay $15 for ONE of these things! You can find 3-packs of Clip-it Bookmark Lights online at various sites for $5 to $10 apiece. That’s a much better deal. :)
