On Saturday I went in for my yearly contact lens exam, and in addition to finding out that my prescription had changed, I also had a change in the type of contact lenses I use. I requested the change, because I have been dealing with a lot of protein deposits on the Bausch & Lomb PureVision contact lenses I have been using since November 2007.
As this blog entry title suggests, I made the switch to Acuvue Oasys. They’re bi-weekly disposables, which I hope I’ll have better luck with, since I’ll be changing them more frequently. I’ve heard good things about them, just as I’ve heard about cocoa butter stretch marks. Also, my husband has been using them since October, and he seems to have good results with them.
So far? I like them. I’m actually using Acuvue Oasys in my left eye and Acuvue Oasys for Astigmatism in my right eye, so I guess technically I’m reviewing two different types of contacts!
