Theraflu
I have recently added Theraflu to my medicine cabinet. To be honest, I have mixed feelings about how well Theraflu works. It contains acetaminophen, and as a fever-reducer it works fairly well. The nighttime formula contains 10% alcohol as well as anti-histamines, and it definitely helps me fall asleep and get a good night’s sleep (no sleeping pills required!). But in terms of relieving my cough, sore throat, nasal congestion and stuffiness, I’m not sure how well it’s doing. I happen to have pneumonia, so I suppose there’s a good chance that the type of illness I have could be interfering with Theraflu’s ability to manage the symptoms.
But overall, I do like Theraflu. It has a pleasant taste, as far as medicines go, and it works well at reducing my fever and inducing drowsiness.

Good to know what’s in it. Honestly, Nyquil just doesn’t work as well anymore, IMO, since they took out the 10% alcohol. hahaha

I wish we could have that stuff around here.
My best friend is allergic to Nyquil & Theraflu both, so we don’t have them around.
When I lived alone I usually had Nyquil liquid-caps because the liquid always made me gag… but Nyquil & Dayquil (even liquid form) have never worked for me – not even to put me to sleep.
