So, what are you doing for Valentine’s Day? Currently, I’m wondering if we’ll be able to follow through with our plans for Valentine’s Day, because we have like three feet of snow on the ground, and there’s a chance that another snow storm could roll through on Saturday or Sunday. But if the roads are drivable, my husband and I will be going to a local restaurant for Valentine’s Day. Of course, the only reason we’ll be able to go on Valentine’s Day is because I nagged my husband into making reservations about two weeks ago. It’s not that he didn’t want to do something for Valentine’s Day, it’s that he’s not good about thinking ahead and thinking about the necessity of making reservations and such for big holidays.
Gifts are on the horizon. It is Valentine’s Day, after all. We’re pretty cliche when it comes to flowers, chocolates, personalized jewelry, candles and teddy bears, but we do sometimes think outside the box and experiment with other gift ideas. I do have a gift for my husband, but since he reads this blog, I’m obviously not going to share what that gift is.
