Bionaire Silent Micathermic Heater
The Bionaire Silent Micathermic Heater is a space heater that my mother picked up for me two and a half years ago, when I was sick and huddled up with meds that a doctor in a lab coat prescribed me. I cite the date because let me tell you, this space heater has gotten a lot of use between then and now. We’ve used it in place of propane heating during a few occasions where we ran out of propane but didn’t have the funds or an immediate appointment to have more delivered, and we’ve used it to supplement the propane heating. We most often use the Bionaire Silent Micathermic Heater in the living room, since it and the kitchen have an open design, and those two rooms tend to be the chilliest in the house. We’ve also lent the heater to my mother on a few occasions, and I think my husband also lent it to a co-worker of his for a few weeks last winter.
In summary, the Bionaire Silent Micathermic Heater is great. It can definitely generate an intense pocket of heat that is more than adequate for a bedroom or a portion of a larger room. It heats up quickly, and it is indeed silent when running. True to its word, it immediately shuts off if it tips over, and it does have a cool-touch surface in a few areas, so you can safely handle it and move it even if it’s running or was recently on.
