I think I’m leaning more towards preferring to do a lot of my shopping online. First of all, it’s cold out and I’m cold all of the time these days, so going out to shop means having to freeze my ass off when I leave the house, then leave my car, then leave the store, then leave my car again. Second, I have a five year old and a three year old, and it can be mayhem to take them into a store sometimes. And third, I find that I don’t spend nearly as much or splurge nearly as often when I shop online. When I shop online, I tend to really study the price more, look for coupons, calculate which site has the cheapest shipping options, etc.
Besides, in most cases you can find ten times the amount of stuff online. Whether it be wedding favors or some spiffy winter boots, online shops usually have a much bigger selection. And don’t even get me started on the awesomeness of generic products, like the cheap USB cables and such you can find on eBay!
