Most weddings are held in the spring and summer, which means that wedding plannings are well underway by this time of year. And if you’re a friend or relative of the bride, you’re no doubt mulling over the idea of a bridal shower. Bridal showers are a lot of fun, especially for the hardworking bride who definitely needs to take a day or so for herself! If you do decide to plan a bridal shower, here are a few tips to keep in mind:
- Use an organizer to outline everything you need to do in preparation for the baby shower. A notebook is most versatile, but you can also use a date planner, an appointment book, or even computer software.
- Keep track of your budget. It’s too easy to overspend in preparation for a party. If you need to cut costs, shop clearance items, check out Amazon and eBay, and consider hitting up a dollar store or two.
- Get help! Just as the bride is having help with the planning of her wedding, you can get help for the planning of the bridal shower that will be held in her honor. Ask friends to chip in with time, organizational skills or home-baked goods.
