GripIt Floss Holders
Last month the founder of GripIt Floss Holders sent me two floss holders to try out. I chose the pink one for myself, of course, and gave the blue one to my husband. The GripIt Floss Holder is a reusable dispenser that can be refilled with dental floss. Instead of purchasing somewhat pricey disposable flossers that wind up being tossed in the trash and dumped in a landfill, the GripIt Floss Holder allows you to use the same dispenser over and over again. Simply replace the 50 yard roll of floss when it runs out, and you’re good to go!
My husband and I have been using our GripIt Floss Holders for about five weeks now, and we both like them. They’re easy to load/reload — I know that because I had to reload the roll of floss not long after getting the holder, thanks to my three year old son ripping it apart. The floss threads through the prongs on the top of the holder easily, and it’s easy to break off used pieces of floss and pull through fresh floss. The one complaint my husband has about the GripIt Floss Holder is that the floss itself seems to be a little chinsy. But that is easily remedied by purchasing better replacement floss.
