Wellness Dog & Cat Food

I have four cats and one dog. I care about my animals, and I feel it is very important to serve them high quality, nutritious food. And by high quality, nutritious food I don’t mean the crap that Iams and Purina serve up in a hippie-designed bag with pretty illustrations of fruits, vegetables and fish. I mean actual pet food that is nutritious, healthy, and not composed of grain and dead, decaying and disease-ridden animal parts.

Wellness Wellness Dog & Cat Food is by no means cheap, but you know what they say: you get what you pay for. Wellness cat foods, for example, are comprised of actual chicken & chicken meal, rice, vegetables and fruits, and healthy nutrients and minerals. And Wellness dog foods offer an impressive selection of healthy, nutritious ingredients for dogs.

Wellness may be more expensive than the low end crap that regular stores sell (FYI, Wellness is typically available in specialty pet stores such as That Fish Place and Pet Supplies Plus), but it’s money worth spending, for three reasons:

  1. Healthy food is the best choice for my pets.
  2. Even though the food costs more and you don’t get as much in a bag, it lasts longer, because it’s nutritious and filling. My pets don’t consume as much in one sitting as they might if the food was cheap grain- and corn-based product.
  3. Healthy food = less junk to be passed through the digestive system = less poops that are not as smelly. Seriously!

So if you’re looking for a healthy, nutritious food for your cat(s) or dog(s), I highly recommend Wellness.
