Oster 6 Slice Stainless Steel Toaster Oven Between the high cost of heating our home (and thus wanting to preserve gas wherever possible) and the inefficiency of heating up an entire kitchen oven for the sole purpose of cooking a small roast, a frozen pizza or a TV dinner, my husband and I decided that it might be a good idea to invest in a toaster oven. So while we were out today, we stopped by Lowes and after looking over the various models available, decided upon the Oster 6 Slice Stainless Steel Toaster Oven. Its key features include:

  • convection cooking
  • broiling
  • temperature up to 450°
  • the capacity to hold six slices of toast, or a small 12″ frozen pizza
  • two cooking racks

Straight out of the box I can tell you that the Oster 6 Slice Stainless Steel Toaster Oven is nice to look at — it features a sleek stainless steel finish and embellishments. It’s also rather compact — for the time being it is sitting on top of my microwave, and it isn’t as long or wide as it is.

I look forward to using this toaster oven, especially on those nights where I’m making little pieces of meet for just my two preschoolers and myself!
