My daughter has been begging me for ChixOs. I had no idea what they were until I happened to see a set in Target. Apparently they’re like the AquaDots, except they’re safe. They’re available in basic “bead” form PixOs), which can be joined together using water and made into a variety of shapes. Then there’s the ChixOs, which feature the little beads and other girly things to create little female figurines and props and accessories for them.
I’ll let you know how this toy works out in the next day or so. My daughter and I assembled the two little girls that came with the ChixOs backyard pool/barbecue set I purchased, and it couldn’t have been any easier: assemble the dolls, spray with water, allow to dry for an hour. So, so far, so good!

No, they ARE AquaDots, just (supposedly) minus that toxin that turns to GHB when ingested. So I’d be careful, because PixOs came out like 4 weeks after they pulled AquaDots off the shelves after they killed 2 kids in the U.S. It’s the same company using the same Chinese supplier, though I doubt they’d make the same mistake twice. Just be careful…
