Hello, and welcome to In My Bag! My name is Jenn, and this is my product review blog. 
I know this isn’t a technical blog, and I don’t normally review software, but I really want to talk about Windows 7. Simply put, it is amazing. The upgrade from Windows XP to Windows Vista was exciting, simply because Vista was so excitingly new and different. But Vista has definitely lagged in performance. I really discovered this once I installed Windows 7 on a four and a half year old computer, and it ran faster and more efficiently than Vista did on my two and a half month old laptop. I use the past tense because I have since reformatted my laptop with Windows 7, and my husband did the same with his laptop.
The best way I can describe Windows 7 is to say it is a lot like Vista, except that it has gotten a significant amount of tweaks and additional features, and a huge boost in performance. I run this bad boy day and night, surfing the internet, blogging about what’s going on in my life, writing about stationery and life insurance, processing photos in Adobe Photoshop, managing files with Cute FTP Pro, listening to music in iTunes, and so much more.

I like the looks of it! I would love to try it out, but I’m scared I’ll break things if I try to BootCamp it on my MacBook Pro.
