If you’ve ever attended a baby shower, then you know that you definitely won’t want to show up empty-handed. There are many gift options available out there, and what you ultimately choose depends on the type of gifts the mother-to-be might like to receive, as well as how much you have to spend. Diaper cakes (these are fancy cake-shaped towers built out of diapers) are a nice choice, as are big-ticket items like breast pumps, changing tables, cribs and high chairs.
But I have to say from experience that the best gift to give is a baby gift basket. Baby gift baskets can be purchased from stores or boutiques, or you can take the time to create your own. My preferred method is creating them, but if you don’t have the time to shop for a basket and then the various baby things you’ll put inside it, purchasing a pre-made, ready-to-go baby gift basket would obviously be the better idea.
