A lot has changed in the three years since I’ve been pregnant. For one thing, a lot of stores that offer exclusive lines of maternity clothes now offer plus size maternity clothes. Being plus size and pregnant was especially frustrating for me, since at the time I was unable to track down maternity clothing. Yes, I was fat to begin with, but I was still pregnant, and my expanding belly made it difficult for my clothes to fit properly. I wound up wearing an extra loose pair of capris in the spring and summer, and used a hair band to keep the button and button-hole together.
Anyway, these days you’ll have a much easier time of finding maternity clothing in many different sizes! From plus size bras (I highly recommend Goddess) to underwear to skirts and pants, you’ll be able to find everything that you need.
