What do you guys know about fold-up treadmills? Space is definitely a premium in our house, so while I’d love to have a treadmill (I do enjoy using it, and would definitely enjoy working out while watching some of my DVR’ed shows at the same time!), there’s just no room for one. Those things are massive. The only type of treadmill I could have is a fold-up kind, so that I could shove it behind the living room recliner or underneath the sofa.
Now, I know that there are plenty of fold-up treadmills out there, but I’m also quite plus-size… so I’d want a treadmill that could hold up, for lack of a better term.
So… any suggestions? Price-wise, I’d like to stay under $500, if that’s possible.
We have a fold up treadmill and honestly, it doesn’t take up much space. We have ours tucked away against the wall, next to our piano. I think we spent about $375 on ours, but could totally be mistaken! All I can remember about purchasing ours is that it was purchased at Wal-Mart… and yes, I know you’re probably cringing at that statement, but it is the ONLY store we have in our hillbilly town.
I am not much into treadmills, usually bikes. My folks have 2 treadmills that do slightly different things. One is simple and those other is this elaborate one that just has too many buttons to push…lol.
If you are looking for one, I could suggest looking in the newspaper and seeing if anyone is selling one first. *shrugs*
