My daughter and son have been asking for Bendaroos, so I decided to order it for them (FYI, you can get the kit on eBay for $17.99. It’s a much better deal than the $19.99 + $6.99 2wk-10wk shipping + $6.99 5-6 business day shipping that bendaroos.com charges). The kit arrived today, and Alyssa and Ryan were barely able to eat their lunch before wanting to break into the package.
The Bendaroos kit features 500 individual Bendaroos, split up into 12 different colors. A Bendaroo is nothing more than a “super string” coated in some type of colored wax. But unlike regular wax, which would crack and crumble under the strain of being bent and twisted, the Bendaroos seem to hold up pretty well. Of course, if they’re bent too tight, or left crumbled up into a tight coil or pile for too long, the Bendaroos will wind up breaking at the weakened point.
Overall, the Bendaroos seem to be pretty awesome. My children spent several hours this afternoon making all sorts of creations, and this evening another few hours were enjoyed making some of the creations shown in the illustrated guide that came along with the Bendaroos kit.

500 bendaroos will last for a long time even with the most determined of kids. Mine play for at least 3 hours a day. Talk about an awesome invention.
thanks for letting us know about this 500 pack offer.
