If I had the money, time (read: 24/7 babysitting service) and less of a fear of heights, I swear I would attend the IZEAFest at SeaWorld. But the dough goes to bills and household stuff and food and vehicle maintenance, I can’t think of anyone who would willingly care for Ryan 24/7 for more than a day or two, and I’d rather eat a worm before getting on an airplane.
IZEAFest, in case you’re wondering, is a special yearly event/seminar put together by IZEA, the company that owns and manages PayPerPost and SocialSpark. It’s all about blogging, paid blogging, social media and internet marketing. Since my livelihood is deeply immersed in all of those things, you can probably see why I’d love to attend. If one is ever within driving distance, I swear I WILL be there. I’d love to learn all sorts of insider tips and tricks, and in general it would be pretty damn cool to nerd it up with other like-minded people and their laptops and various portable electronics. Plus, who wouldn’t want to have the chance to meet Ted Murphy? He’d definitely be my favorite speaker on the list.
Session-wise, “What’s Next in SocialSpark” would probably interest me the most, since I do use the paid blogging system from time to time (and overall, have found it to be rather disappointing).
If you’re a PPPer or SSer, are you planning on attending IZEAFest?
