Shout Stain Remover is a freakin’ godsend. My dog is going through her first heat (of course, she starts just a few days before her scheduled spay appointment, which we have now had to reschedule), and despite doing our best to confine her to the kitchen, she managed to get into our bedroom and up onto our bed. The result? Several blood stains on our quilt. Our $100 Shabby Chic quilt that isn’t being made anymore. The $100 discontinued Shabby Chic quilt that matches our bed sheets, shams and curtains.
Under normal circumstances I would just immediately strip the quilt off the bed and throw it in the washer. But did I mention that my washer was out of commission (needed a new belt and pulley) from last Saturday evening until this afternoon? And that the blood stains occurred on Sunday morning?
Thank god for Shout. Despite those blood stains drying and sitting on the quilt until today, FRIDAY afternoon, a fifteen minute pre-treat with Shout Stain Remover and then a normal wash cycle removed everything. Yay!
