Panasonic DECT 6.0 Expandable Digital Cordless Phone System
In October I treated us to a phone upgrade. We were using an AT&T system, but one of the phones was starting to whack out. It would often de-register itself from the system. And both phones’ internal date and time would change to random months whenever someone called. So, I decided to upgrade, and as soon as I heard about the Call Block feature Panasonic was implementing in some of their new phone systems, I ran right out to purchase the Panasonic DECT 6.0 Expandable Digital Cordless Phone with All-Digital Answering System. The system can be purchased with one, two or three additional handsets.
I chose the system with two additional handsets. We have the base at my desk, a handset on the other side of the living room, and the third handset in the bedroom.
The system works flawlessly. Setting up the system was as easy as hooking up the base and then plugging in the additional handsets. The address book is stored within the phone system, and any changes made to the address book are reflected on all three phones.
The Call Block feature is by far the best feature of the phone system. Get rid of unwanted callers and those annoying toll free numbers easily. With just a few “clicks” of the phone buttons, you’re able to select a number from your caller ID (or input it manually), save it, and then add it to your Call Block list. If that number calls again, your phone will ring once, then display “Caller blocked” on the viewing screen. The person on the other end simply hears a busy signal.
Sound quality for both ends of the phone is excellent, and the system is easy to use and reliable. Battery life is also impressive — I have left phones off the base for days at a time with no drop in battery charge.
I would definitely recommend the Panasonic DECT 6.0 Expandable Digital Cordless Phone System!
