It pays to do your research. Whether you’re looking for a new printer, comparing prices between auto insurance companies, or simply looking for the cheapest gas prices in your area, it’s important to do your research and know what’s what before you make a purchase.
I learned this the hard way, several years ago. On eBay was a listing for a gorgeous spaghetti strap black tank top with a ruffled bottom, and a huge design of butterflies and flowers done up in pink, purple and gold, with loads of glitter, all over the front. Obviously, for such a pretty, stylish top that was plus size friendly, bidding wars ensued. I managed to win the auction for $45, and I felt pretty smug.
…Imagine my surprise when a few days later my mother found out from a co-worker of hers that the top was $8.99 at a DEB shop.
I learned my lesson the hard way, and since then I have taken care to research prices and reviews on products before committing to a purchase!
