I think the best thing about having a “smartphone” is that it uses a Windows Operating system, which means that I’m free to tweak the heck out of it. In addition to installing various programs (here’s a dorky shoutout to TinyTwitter!), I can also upload my own ringtones to my cell. I use various websites to create and download free ringtones, and upload them simply by connecting a USB cable and transferring the .mp3 files over.
Right now bestincellphones.com is offering a bunch of free ringtones to consumers, regardless of who their wireless service provider is. For me, free tmobile ringtones are the way to go, since I have service with T-Mobile. But not everyone does. My brother-in-laws, for example, would want to check out free Verizon real music ringtones, while my one brother-in-law’s girlfriend would want to look at the free at&t cingular ringtones for her iPhone.
I don’t know of anyone with Sprint service, but if any of my readers use Sprint, you’re in luck. bestincellphones.com is offering free Sprint real music ringtones, too!
