Give Cryo-Cell for Christmas
Here’s an interesting idea for a Christmas present: Cyro-Cell. Or more specifically, a Cyro-Cell gift package or gift card. For me, Christmas is about finding meaningful presents that my family members and friends will enjoy and use. Bonus points if the product is functional, and not just “fun” (a perfect example would be the coffee pot we gave to my husband’s brother last year, and the crock pot we gave to his other brother the year before!).
Well, Cryo-Cell is definitely a gift that would be useful for many. The company specializes in providing women with discreet, easy to use and effective products that catch and preserve blood that is shed during menstruation. Research has shown that valuable stem cells can be found in period blood. This is a wonderful discovery, since it used to be that cord blood was the only well known, tried and true option for capturing and preserving stem cells.
Stem cells that are harvested from cord blood, or in this case, menstruation blood, can be stored and later used for several types of cellular therapies. Currently, stem cells can be used to treat over a dozen serious conditions, including leukemia, diabetes, cerebral palsy and anemia. Who knows what the future will bring in terms of diseases that can be better managed or even cured with stem cells?
