This Christmas I’m mostly focused on family and friends. Running through my head isn’t a list of what I hope to find waiting for me under the Christmas tree, but instead what I want to have waiting under the Christmas tree for my husband, my children, my brothers, my mother, my husband’s family, and my friends. We’ve done some Christmas shopping already, but again, the priority and focus was on others, and not so much on myself.
But that doesn’t mean I don’t want something for Christmas! My wishlist is on the expensive side, but’s it’s definitely in existence. I could really go for an iPod Touch. Unfortunately, with all of the music I have, I would need a 32GB, and at this time I cannot justify spending $400 on myself for a glorified mp3 player. I’d also like a Lensbaby, a wide angle lens for my Nikon, a better telephoto lens, ink for my printer, and various delicious smelling goodies from Victoria’s Secret. Like I said, I have expensive wishes for Christmas.
I’m not doing too much today, so I decided to go and sit on Santa’s lap — his virtual lap! Santa knows that even us adults have a wish or two that we would like to make, and so Sit on Santa’s Lap was created.
At the website, you have the opportunity to view Santa in a video, and then upload your picture for display on one of their nifty LCD digital photo frames. Additionally, you can make a wish, and Santa and CEIVA (the company behind the digital photo frame shown on the website) will be granting one wish per day! The winner gets an awesome cash prize of $500.
I admit, I made a cute little Santa video on the website, and I sent it to my husband to laugh at.
The photo I chose to be displayed in the video? I think it’s quite appropriate for Christmas:
