I had planned on using Mozy to make backups of all of the work-related files that are on my laptop. I thought it would be a nice program to use, since backups can be automated, and the program is supposed to run in the background, leaving you free to work or play while secure copies of your important and treasured files are made.
But then my computer hung after the installation finished. After restarting, the computer hung after trying to configure the Mozy program to run. And then a safe mode reboot didn’t even want to work.
I attempted to install and run the program on my new laptop, which is sporting Windows Vista 64bit, an AMD Turion x2 dual core processor and 3GB of RAM, so I seriously doubt that computer qualifications are a problem.
Needless to say, I won’t be attempting to review Mozy, since I have nothing but a negative experience to report.
