In the seventh grade I hit another weird quirk of puberty — excessive perspiration. There was no issue with odor, but I definitely had wet spots showing up on the underarms of a lot of my clothing. It was embarrassing, and I often wore layers and even tucked wads of paper towels under my arms to help keep things under control.
Thankfully I left those days in the dust, but every now and again excessively hot or stressful days can get the best of me. So when I saw a few packages of Secret Clinical Strength in the clearance section of Target last month, I thought I’d try them out. After all, $8 for a stick of deodorant seemed like a little much, but $3.98 was reasonable.
Well, after a month of use, I have to report that while I have had quite a few stressful days that result in perspiration, I didn’t see anything spectacular from the usage of Secret Clinical Strength. The only difference between it and my normal choice of deodorant — Secret Platinum — is the scent. It looks like the people in the lab coats who made this product didn’t do too well!
