I don’t like heat. So thank god for AC! AC in the house, AC in stores, and of course, AC in the car. I feel bad for my mother, because her minivan’s AC system is messed up. There’s a small gasket located in/around the air conditioning compressor that leaks. While the gasket itself would cost less than $1 to replace, the labor involved with getting to the piece would be several hundred dollars. And my mother would rather suffer each summer than pay to have the piece repaired. Without the repair, an AC recharge would last five to six weeks.
