The Baby Einstein Wake-up and Goodnight CD is a collection for babies, with music that is calm, soothing and delightful to listen to, which makes it perfect for rising in the morning to, or going to bed with. Songs on the CD include Bach’s Brandenburg Concerto, Beethoven’s Rondo a Capriccio, Chopin’s Nocturne and Mozart’s Piano Sonata.
Even though the CD is designed for infants and babies, I bought it to use for my nearly two year old son. He enjoys music, and sometimes needs help with settling down for naps and bed times. We pop the CD in his clock radio, set it to repeat, turn the volume low, and let it go. It works beautifully — since introducing the CD several months ago, my son now often falls asleep in less than fifteen minutes, whereas before he would be awake for an hour or more.
