I’ve had my eye on Revlon Soft on the Eyes sheer loose shadow for several weeks, and when Target clearanced them from $9.98 to $4.98 last week, I decided to pick up a palette. I chose Head in the Clouds, which features light purple, a very light creamy brown, a light aqua/teal, and a pearly cream. The shadows come loose, are in four separate circular compartments, and are packed in an hinged rectangular container that includes a wide mirror and an application brush (bristles).
The shadows are very pretty, and I dig loose shadows because they’re generally easier to apply, and you have more control over layering and placement. But these shadows… sheer is a bit of an understatement, I think. I don’t know if it’s me being picky, or my skin being too dark from all of the sun exposure I’ve had this summer, or what, but the shadows are barely there! I plan on passing on the palette to my three and a half year old daughter for dressing up with.
