Rimmel Stir It Up Cream Eyeshadow
I am a fan of Rimmel. I love their eyeliners, and I am a fan of the eyeshadows. So when I saw Rimmel Stir It Up Cream Eyeshadow in Sure, I decided to buy it. I was attracted to the purple with pink paint splats, and the generous coating of glitter over that.
The first thing I noticed when using the eyeshadow is that the glitter is only on the top. To me that’s misleading. A lot of what attracted me to the eyeshadow was the packaging and glitter. I love glitter. So seeing that it was only a glaze on top made me feel cheated. Also, the pink that was on top was, like the glitter, only on top. I guess the purpose of the “Stir It Up” eyeshadow is to stir everything up and wear it mixed together.
The resulting color is a plum with a light metallic pink sheen, with a few sparkles here and there. It looks nice, but it doesn’t last. Despite applying a thin layer of foundation beforehand, and applying the eyeshadow itself evenly, it creased and gunked up in the creases within an hour after application.

Ok,
I totally agree with you. I bought the cream shadow the one with the yellow, green and brown mixed together. And it clumped up on me by the time I made it work. I had to work with it all day long. I even tried to wear it with Decrease from loreal and without and still the same thing happened. I was not impressed at all.
lacey.
thanks for the review. I was thinking of buying one cause I also am a fan of Rimmel. but I was only gonna get this cause of the glitter. (I love glitter too) so now I’m not getting it.
thanks.

I wish I’d read this review before buying the black/silver version of this for homecoming! I had another option in hand but put it down in favor of the glitter in this one :/
