In case you haven’t noticed, I do a lot of shopping. Just about all of my product and service reviews come from the purchases of services and reviews that I have made myself. And I use a credit card or our personal checking account to make most of those purchases. With my credit card number and personal information traveling throughout cyberspace and passing from me to cashiers and back again in stores, it’s a marvel that my identity hasn’t been stolen. But then again, my credit score isn’t very good (that’s an understatement actually; it isn’t good at all!). But on the other hand, that might not stop some people.

Identity theft scares me. A lot of things scare me: being robbed, having my car stolen, being attacked. But to have my actual identity stolen?
