I read a really good book tonight. It was Katherine Center’s The Bright Side of Disaster. It was about a pregnant woman whose fiance forgot all about marriage and family and children and mens wedding bands, and left her the day before she went into labor. She plunged into parenthood as a single mother, but down the road met and fell in love with a wonderful neighbor, happy endings for all, the end.

It was a nice book. A really nice book. Stories like that, and the true story of what Elissa Wall (ex FLDS member) went through with her husband (routine marital rape) that makes me so very thankful that I have such a wonderful husband. Who, by the way, wears two wedding bands, though one is technically an engagement ring that I gave him. He proposed first, and then I proposed a few months later, to help solidify the bond. ♥
