When I was still pregnant with Alyssa, and later with Ryan, I briefly entertained the notion of moses baskets. They’re sweet, enchanting, adorable, and definitely not something you find to be often used in this day and age.

They’re certainly sweet, but not very practical. They’re a little too shallow and open for my liking. They don’t provide any protection from the sun, elements or other people with the use of a shield or a visor, and how sturdy are they? Plus, they’re just one more thing to drag along when you go out.
So for those reasons, I decided to be practical, and stuck to strollers, car seats (detachable from the base, of course) and slings (I highly recommend hotslings!).
