They’re marked at clearance, even though you’re saving only $0.90 on the tampons and $0.60 on the deodorant. But hey, a deal is a deal. I nabbed two boxes of tampons and four sticks of deodorant (I swear by Secret Platinum).

Speaking of period stuff… I got my period this week. It’s weird because it came on and has been going on for several days now with no cramps whatsoever. Nary a twinge. This is odd, because normally I’m dying from pain by the second day. Doubling over, popping Tylenol, wincing at sitting down or changing tampons, cramps radiating down my legs pain. This time? Nothing. NOTHING. The last time I had such an easy period was when my doctor prescribed a round of progesterone to jump start a AWOL period after I had been on depo for over a year, and had gone several months without a speck of blood in sight.
